We cater for elderly male and females with a varying rangeof medical needs.

The current owners Howard and Amanda Allison have been running Halsdown House since 1992, and have progressively updated the structure and running of the family business.

All service users, relatives and visitors are in constant contact with members of staff who verbally obtain their comments on any positive or negative aspects of care and environment. These are acted on and documented in the care plans and incident books as appropriate.

Meet our team

Amanda is a registered nurse, link nurse for tissue viability, and a moving & handling key trainer. We also employ eight other first level Registered Nurses to help in the running of the home. As Registered Nurses they are continually updating their professional knowledge to comply with the Residential Supervisory bodies. We also have ten care assistants with diplomas in Health and Social Care.
